Repeat-region epitopes carry no absolute coordinate. A crystallised NANP peptide matches the reference in dozens of places and the structure does not say which copy, so those contacts are reported in the repeat tetrad frame instead. Hotspot counts use antibodies as the denominator, never structures, so an antibody with four deposited complexes cannot outvote one with a single structure.
